Auction estimates
We are pleased to offer valuation of objects free of charge for the purpose of future sale at Grev Wedels Plass Auksjoner. Valuations can be carried out in several ways, either by bringing the object to the gallery for immediate viewing, or by sending us a photograph, either by post or email. We also perform expert consultations at our clients' premises.
Appraisals
Appraisals are carried out for the purpose of preparing legal documents for insurance, sale, probate valuation, or other purposes. GWPA charges a fee for such commission, the price of the commission depending on the extent of the appraisal. This service is available by appointment throughout Norway.
Catalogues
We produce extensive catalogues prior to each auction. Each object for sale is here presented with colour photographs and useful information.
Cleaning, restoration and framing
As we make an effort to present each object for sale in the best possible condition we can organize for cleaning, restoration and re-framing if necessary.
